OUR MISSION

Community Service Initiative (CSI) is dedicated to cultivating a deep and lasting commitment to service. The program will provide access to a wide range of meaningful volunteer opportunities, with a strong emphasis on non-clinical service that addresses the broader social determinants of health. By engaging directly with diverse communities and causes, members will develop empathy, social awareness, and a genuine service-oriented mindset that extends beyond traditional clinical experiences. This initiative embodies AED’s “Service” tenet by encouraging members to serve not only as future healthcare professionals, but as compassionate advocates and active contributors to their communities.
